Fonecta, the leading Finnish online directory company, launched its new location based mapping service on May 29, 2012. Fonecta offers people in Finland help regardless of time, place and the communication medium. The portal enables its customers to search for local businesses and view where they are located on an interactive map.
OnYourMap designs, owns and operates the Geospatial platform sitting behind the directory which delivers up to date information about local services to their huge customer base. Thanks to the OnYourMap platform, Fonecta now enables its www.eniro.fi website with high speed mapping , frequent information updates, integrated data from the Finnish map supplier Karttakeskus and high resolution photo imagery from Blom.
